Ron has a B.A. in Business Administration and has been in the Human Services field for 10 years. His mission in life is to help others overcome obstacles that they have encountered, and transition into successful members of society.
Diversion Program for 150 youth, ages 16 to 24, facing adjudication for delinquency or adjudicated delinquent youth seeking to have their juvenile record expunged. Males and females welcome. For youth in school, program offers after-school tutoring, homework assistance, career exploration. For youth not in school, program offers academic and work aptitude assessment, case management, service learning projects, education, GED preparation, vocational training in fiber optics and data communications installation, construction trades, security, forklift operation, PennDot flagger, culinary arts, housing retrofit and insulation and EPA lead paint abatement.
Also program provides youth leadership development, job preparation, search and placement, mentoring and after-care services along with supportive services. Supportive services include substance abuse treatment; mental health; medical care; food; clothing; shelter; child care; transportation; legal services; family counseling services and more. Community service project is required. New Program for 2013-16. Funded by U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training
Erika is a graduate of Virginia Union University Mrs. Hill is a former educator for the Philadelphia School District and has over 10 years of experience in Workforce Development. Her passion is to help students that cross her path to find their voice, and pursue their purpose.
Jeffrey is a graduate of Lincoln University, and has worked with youth providing mental health and therapeutic services for over 10 years. He has always had a passion for being active in the community helping youth empower themselves and achieve their goals.
Sharnita is a mother of two who resides in Northeast Philadelphia. She enjoys being a positive influence, and having a positive impact on the youth that are serviced by the program.
